About TAMRA
“The universe where TAMRA garments belong
seems to lie in deserted dry plains of some dystopia,
the city depicted in Bladerunner or Wu-Tang Clan’s New York.
The Asian influences, at times bordering on exoticism,
contribute to the mysterious appeal.
Tamra is about interdisciplinary design,
the relation between art, movies, music,
skateboarding and fashion.”

Dare to Be Special
TAMRA is an avant-garde fashion label rooted in Tbilisi, Georgia, where art, film, music, and skateboarding converge to inspire our designs.
Founded by Tamuna Karumidze, TAMRA transcends traditional fashion boundaries. We don’t merely produce collections; we craft narratives. Our sporadic yet impactful shows at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week are celebrated for their artistry and imagination.
Sustainability at Our Core
At TAMRA, sustainability isn’t a trend—it’s our ethos. We are dedicated to creating timeless pieces that endure, distancing ourselves from the fast fashion paradigm. By repurposing materials like old duvets and surplus fabrics, we breathe new life into textiles, ensuring each garment is unique and environmentally conscious. Our designs, characterized by oversized silhouettes and a gender-neutral approach, are meant to be cherished and worn for years, reducing the cycle of waste and overconsumption.
Limited Editions, Handcrafted in Georgia
Every TAMRA piece is produced in limited editions, with careful attention to detail. Each item is handcrafted in Georgia by local artisans, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike. This approach not only supports local craftsmanship but also preserves the uniqueness and individuality that define our brand.
Our Universe
TAMRA operates across two distinct yet interconnected realms:
TAMRA: Our primary line, offering unisex, experimental, and custom-made fashion pieces.
TAMRA Skateboards: A gender-fluid collections inspired by the urban skate culture, reflecting the dynamic spirit of metropolitan life.
Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our meticulous selection of materials, often sourcing out-of-stock fabrics or those rooted in Georgian rural traditions. As Tamuna articulates, “My goal is to create something beautiful by adapting what already exists according to my needs, giving new life to these fabrics that would otherwise be lost, and inserting the most street elements that belong to my creativity.”
While some of our pieces are exclusive to our research process and not available for sale, they exemplify our dedication to redefining sustainability—not as an endpoint but as a means to craft a new aesthetic that honors creativity and environmental responsibility.
